The SpinFire XR Design Review Experience allows engineering teams to load and inspect CAD models at full scale in XR, enabling them to review complex assemblies in context, identify design issues earlier and make faster, more informed decisions across the product development process.

Complete assemblies and part revisions are automatically positioned in their correct CAD location, enabling accurate, in context evaluation.
Teams can compare design variants, assess fit and function and review updates without the need for physical prototypes, reducing late stage changes, minimizing rework and accelerating approval cycles.
Collaboration Mode enables cross functional teams to join real time design reviews in an immersive XR environment, wherever they are. Engineers, planners and stakeholders can interact with full scale 3D models, explore assemblies, assess updates and give contextual input.
Issues and feedback can be captured through comments, screenshots, voice notes or videos automatically linked to the model and saved for later review or wider sharing. This ensures clear communication, reduces errors and accelerates confident decision making.
Automated Data Processing
Preparing data for the Design Review Experience is a seamless fully automated process using the Visualization Pipeline. You can “save as” from your CAD session, drag and drop from the file system or drive it directly from your PLM workflow.
FAQs about Design Reviews
Do all users need the same XR devices to collaborate in Design Reviews?
No. Users can join collaborative Design Review sessions using different XR devices, including Mixed or Virtual Reality headsets. Users without XR headsets can join via desktop or laptop devices.
The data can also be exported in lightweight formats like 3D XML, Creo View and JT, enabling CAD engineers to load the design using compatible CAD viewers to easily review and compare design changes.
