The Command Interpreter add-on is a library that allows users to save the setup of their scene in order to replay and share them.
This project contains both the Command Interpreter library and a sample application to demo it. View the GitHub project. You can run some command on the project to build the library or the application, but you can also run a development server to get live feedback if you want to customize the sample.
This project tutorial on GitHub also contains a section explaining step-by-step how the interpreter can be extended to add customized serialization or import and export functionality.
