HOOPS 3D Exchange

HOOPS 3D Exchange (HOOPS 3DX) empowers developers to import and export the most popular 3D formats within their applications, including PRC, the 3D format used to store precise 3D data within PDF documents. HOOPS 3DX transitioned from Adobe to Tech Soft 3D in late May 2010 and will be released in Q3 2010 with new flexible pricing and packaging. See press release.

As part of Tech Soft 3D’s agreement with Adobe, Tech Soft 3D will continue to make the following products available directly to end-users, each of which will rely on the HOOPS 3DX libraries:

Acrobat Professional 3D Plug-ins will be released, which will enable the formats supported by HOOPS 3D Exchange to be read directly in Acrobat Professional. 

3D Reviewer application (previously included with Acrobat Pro Extended) will be updated with the latest HOOPS 3DX libraries. Pricing, Packaging, Release Dates and Purchase Options will be announced by the end of Q3 2010.
