3D InterOp
The 3D InterOp Translators are a set of C++ libraries that enable ISV’s
to easily integrate both native and standard MCAD formats into their
applications. The benefits of using 3D InterOp include:
Accurate 3D Translation
3D InterOp components allow transparent exchange of solid, surface and wireframe, non-geometric and visualization data for 3D formats such as CATIA V5, CATIA V4, Pro/E, UG NX, SolidWorks, Inventor, ACIS®, Parasolid, IGES, STEP, VDA-FS and HSF.
More than just CAD Geometry
3D InterOp goes beyond the established translation of 3D geometry and topology, with support for vital geometric data, product structure (assemblies and sub-assemblies), reference data (coordinate systems, free curves, free points), grouping data (names, layers, layer filters) as well as manufacturing information (GD&T) for specific formats.
Integrated with Parasolid and with HOOPS
Tech Soft 3D has tightly integrated 3D InterOp with Parasolid, making 3D InterOp particularly well-suited to applications using this kernel. In addition, 3D InterOp is integrated directly with the HOOPS for the rapid development of multi-format visualization solutions.
