PRODUCT FOCUS
Did you know that developers may license the Autodesk’s native RealDWG toolkit for accessing or creating native DWG or DXF files? SDK Licenses are just $5,000 for the first year, and $2,500 thereafter – making accurate, consistently updated native DWG data access/creation affordable for the development community.

CLIENT FOCUS
IXUS, from EMSS Consulting now makes it possible to model mobile base stations in full 3D and calculate and display accurate ICNIRP non-compliance zones graphically for each base station in a network. The IXUS suite uses HOOPS® and the Parasolid® Kernel Modeller linked to the Qt UI development toolkit. The software features a state-of-the art EMF calculator, which has been optimised to run swiftly on a typical desktop computer.
"HOOPS® offered us an improvement in graphics acceleration without compromising on the quality of the models, which was preintregrated with Qt, on UI toolkit of choice. We also appreciated the ability to license the Parasolid Kernal from Tech Soft 3D." |

PROGRAMMER'S TIP
HOOPS Advanced Functionality Workshop **NEW**
Location: Berkeley, CA
Date: October 6 - 9, 2008
This issue’s programmers tip is to attend the HOOPS ADVANCED FUNCTIONALITY WORKSHOP this October. Experienced HOOPS developers will learn how to optimize their use of the HOOPS API and fully leverage new capabilities to make (often dramatic) improvement to their graphics performance and extend their application’s capabilities. If you'd like to reserve your spot now before this class fills up, simply email us at: info@techsoft3d.com.
If you like HOOPS now, you’ll LOVE it after this high-intensity 4 day session. We’ll even throw in a free day of consulting engineering at the end to help you with any application-specific issues. Take this unique opportunity to meet the HOOPS development team and learn how to squeeze every last ounce of performance out of HOOPS.
