Nathan Krieger Nathan can usually be found peering out from behind a mountain of technical documentation and reference manuals on his desk. His current responsibilities primarily include learning the inner workings of HOOPS and trying to avoid culpability for any future damage he may wreak upon them. Nathan has been a lifelong resident of the east bay, never residing more than 20 miles from his birthplace in Berkeley. He graduated in May 2006 from San Francisco State University with BS degrees in both applied mathematics and computer science. While there, he did research with Dr. Serkan Hosten, developing software that generates best fit phylogenetic tree for large numbers of taxa (~500) from simple DNA distance data. Currently, Nathan lives in El Cerrito with his wife. In his spare time he enjoys developing content for games, making cacophonous noise, and hiking in the nearby hills. |
