David Grieve David brings to the team a wide range of sales experience in the CAD industry having worked for a major player across Europe, UK and Ireland. He started life as an academic carrying out research into car brakes discs and railway rails. Not satisfied with these two fantastically interesting areas he quickly moved to the world of 3D graphics joining a local graphics company near his home in Sheffield. After a quick foray into the technical side of programming he made the leap into sales and never looked back. He went on to join a small team on a new real-time visualisation product that went onto be one of the leading design review platforms in the industry. After the product and company was acquired by a leading CAD company he helped set up their channel before leaving to join Tech Soft 3D. David has two degrees from Nottingham University and is currently furthering education by studying Chinese. This he says will keep him busy for the rest of this life. When not working for Tech Soft David can be found clinging to the cliffs and faces in his native Peak district. Combining his love for climbing with travelling he now likes to take off to unexplored areas with just a plane ticket and a pack. He is looking forward to the first release on the Simon’s multi-player mah-jong game. |
