Rob Mazeffa
Co-Founder, Director of Consulting Engineering
Rob’s role at Tech Soft bridges the gap between our products
and their integration/deployment, and includes technical presentations,
consulting services/support, prototyping workshops, product
documentation, and demonstration tools. Rob’s mission
in life is to enlighten all engineering software developers
about the capabilities, benefits and optimum usage of Tech Soft
3D components.
Rob has focused his entire 14-year professional career on Tech
Soft 3D products, previously serving as Engineering Manager
and Product Manager, as well as masquerading as a core engineer
during the company’s early days. Even now he moonlights
as an IT systems engineer and is sometimes allowed to write
code. While Rob knows TS3D products all too well, he continues
to be amazed by what professional engineering software developers
can achieve with them.
Prior to TS3D, Rob worked as a Consulting Engineer at Ithaca
Software (the original creators of the HOOPS 3D Graphics System)
and then as an engineer at Autodesk. He holds a B.S. degree
in Computer Science and Engineering from Cornell University,
and was first introduced to HOOPS technology in 1991 while working
in Cornell’s industry-pioneering Computer-Aided Design
Instructional Facility (CADIF).
Rob grew up in New Jersey but escaped to California in 1992
where he lives with his wife and children. He periodically attempts
snowboarding 360s despite doctor’s orders and hopes to
one day retire on the beaches of Brazil. |
