Chad Johnson Chad came to Tech Soft 3D from a Mathematics PhD program at UCLA where he was planning on studying geometry and topology with an eye towards physics, particularly general relativity and string theory. While others at Tech Soft don’t actually know what that means, we are happy he has taken a leave of absence from his studies to join our engineering team. Chad’s specialty is in issues related to Parasolid and InterOp. You can often find him solving complex problems for our customers using his keen understanding of the inner workings of the universe. Unlike most of our technical staff, Chad has a plethora of hobbies outside of software development such as reading, music, comedy and cooking. However, his primary interests are mourning the cancellation of the TV show Arrested Development (he’s actually named his Linux box Tobias Funke after a character) and throwing things at the other engineers for no reason other than the challenge of being able to hit them in the head and the intrinsic reward of startling them out of their deep programming states. |
