One of the founding partners of Tech Soft, Gavin oversees the Product Management group. Gavin’s driving focus is to ensure that products delivered by Tech Soft 3D set a standard for ease of use, robustness and innovation. In addition to addressing the pressing needs of the HOOPS user community, Gavin also keeps one eye firmly fixed on innovation and the latest advancements in visualization, data exchange and PDF publishing.
If you have a feature request, a new idea, or want to get a handle on the roadmaps for any of the Tech Soft 3DF product set, Gavin is the man to talk to. Approachable to a fault (the Irish in him), you’ll find Gavin at HOOPS seminars, on customer sites and at industry events planning the future of HOOPS technology. Prior to TS3D, Gavin worked at Autodesk as a Consulting Engineer and played a key role in designing the architecture that TS3D would develop to become the HOOPS 3D Framework. A native of Dublin, Ireland, Gavin has a BA in Mathematics from Trinity College, Dublin and a Master's in Industrial Applied Mathematics from Dublin City University. Gavin has recently re-located with his wife and three children to Lyon, France where he is rapidly improving his French and enjoying the culinary arts.
