Ron Fritz
CEO and Co-Founder
Since day one, Ron has been involved in every aspect of the business side of Tech Soft 3D. In the boot-strap start-up phase, Ron served as accountant, sales manager, HR manager, shipping clerk, marketing content creator and chief customer advocate. It wasn't that he was good at all of those things, it was just that... well... there really wasn't anyone else to do it!
Thankfully, many of his early roles are now filled by competent professionals and Ron is free to focus on the CEO role of growing Tech Soft 3D business and ensuring we stay true to our mission of delivering high-value, commercially-compelling component technology to the engineering software community, within a great work environment that is profitable, progressive and long-term sustainable.
Some of the upsides of Ron's job include piling up airline miles at a prodigious rate, drinking far too much bad hotel coffee and risking permanent thumb damage through ceaselessly hammering on his iPhone keypad. You'll find Ron attending conferences, visiting customers, working with partners around the globe and trying not to spill coffee on his laptop in some airport lounge.
When not working, Ron enjoys playing, watching and coaching soccer with his three children, lounging on his back deck with his wife and friends, mountain biking, snowboarding and running.
Yanick Fluhmann
VP, Sales and Co-Founder
Yanick Fluhmann co-founded Tech Soft 3D in 1996 with partners Ron Fritz, Gavin Bridgeman and Robert Mazeffa. Prior to founding Tech Soft, Yanick worked in Sales and Marketing at Ithaca Software (the original developers of HOOPS) and spent over three years in various marketing positions at Autodesk following its acquisition of Ithaca Software. Prior to that, he worked as a valet, caddie, chauffeur, waiter, gardener, car washer and paperboy. Yanick’s parents are still happy he got a real job… Since Tech Soft’s start-up phase, Yanick has served many roles in the Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Management and Mojo Creation departments. Yanick has been instrumental in Tech Soft 3D’s long-term success, particularly in Sales and Business Development, forming strategic partnerships with companies such as PTC, Spatial, Adobe and UGS. Yanick has spent over 18 years in Sales and Marketing and holds BS Degrees in Engineering and Management from Clarkson University. Yanick loves to travel, ski and mountain bike (in that order) and hates doing the dishes. He also loves to host fun dinner parties and honestly believes that you should come to one sometime.
